葉問：終極一戰 (Ip Man: The Final Fight) (Blu-ray release 2013-7-18) is yet another movie about the the kung fu master who taught Bruce Lee. This movie makes Ip Man more human than in other movies, focuses on his life when he grows old, and is reportedly closer to the real person, although significant parts of the movie are still fiction. Its efforts in recreating the old Hong Kong society is remarkable. For these reasons, some critics prefer this movie to all other Ip Man movies, including The Grandmaster (2013), but I don’t. I think most of the other Ip Man movies have better pacing than this one. Ip Man’s kung fu is also less spectacular here than all the other ones.
