Blackfish (Blu-ray release 2013-11-12) is a documentary that explores the immorality and inhumane aspects of keeping killer whales in captivity for entertainment, and the deaths of several trainers who are murdered by those killer whales.  I have been watching this type of marine animal shows since I was a child and had never given much thought about it before.  This documentary totally changed my perspectives.  I highly recommend anyone who loves marine animals to watch it.  Although I may not stay away from these shows in the future, I’ll always remember what they represent – cruelty for profits.

[Note: Hong Kong’s Ocean Park recently had six hammerhead sharks and 80 bluefin tuna reported dead.  Earlier it had a dolphin committing suicide.]
