Sadako 3D 2 (Blu-ray release 2014-2-28) is yet another installment in Ring / Ringu series of Japanese horror movie series.  In this story, a child brings death to the people surrounding her, and it turns out that she is somehow related to the resurrection of Sadako, the ghost who used to climb out of TV but no longer does it now.

The 2012 predecessor was disappointing enough, but this new version is a total mess.  There is little of the classic J-horror elements to be found here.  It still has a video that causes people to die after watching it, but this video no longer features any ghost or person – it just looks like the computer display adapter is defective.  Perhaps the filmmakers are really scared by computer crashes.  Among the many horror movies I watched, this movie must have one of the weakest climax.
