Snowpiercer (Blu-ray release 2014-4-2) is a live action English-speaking adaptation of a comic book done by a Korean director.  In this world, artificial efforts to suppress global warming backfired disastrously, causing Earth to freeze, and the last of humanity now survives in a self-sustaining train.  The underprivileged passengers, living in the tail section, decide to revolt against the totalitarian rulership by the train’s creator.  This movie is really good not only because the story is original, but it is a thought-provoking allegory as well.  The ending reminds me of The Matrix Reloaded (2003), but it is done better here.  It’s a pity that the US distributor wanted to dumb down this movie.
