The Snow White Murder Case (Blu-ray release 2014-9-3) sounds exactly like a detective movie, but it’s not.  Based on a novel, this Japanese movie starts with the murder of a beautiful staff who works at a company that manufactures a Snow White brand of soap.  A coworker called a TV producer, who then creates a show by interviewing everyone related to the murder case.  A primary suspect is immediately revealed, with heated discussions in the internet.

Although this is not the type of movie I expected to watch, it is unique in exploring how damaging irresponsible internet and media discussions can become, as well as bullying not just in school but in the workplace.  These are worthwhile subjects, but the screenplay is not very interesting for my taste.
