Based on real history, Bridge of Spies (Blu-ray release 2016-2-2) tell the story of a lawyer defending a Soviet Union spy in the American court during the cold war.  Later he negotiated an exchange of the spy with an unlucky American pilot and a student who got caught by the Soviet Union and East Germany.

This is a strong drama, and reasonably faithful to the nature (but not all the details, especially concerning the pilot or his plane being shot down in the movie) of what actually occurred.  It raises a good argument about honoring the constitution against national security.  In spite of the involvement of spies, this is not a spy thriller, so there is not much tension to be very entertaining.
