I never liked any Ice Age movies, except for the few parts with the squirrel.  Ice Age: Collision Course (2016-10-11) is inventive in that it becomes a sci-fi movie that features magnetism, static electricity and a new way to deal with asteroid hitting planet Earth, not unlike Armageddon (1998).  Although I don’t care for the melodrama about the father not accepting the daughter’s boyfriend, and the idea of prehistoric animals averting an asteroid collision, this movie has a significant enough amount of time showing the squirrel, so at least this movie is not a total waste of time for me.
